Wow! It’s Friday again; it is so true that the older you get the fast time flies. Well, here’s five things I want to share with you today!
NaBloPoMo Challenge
Not to jinx it or anything but the NaBloPoMo challenge is working out so far. I am 1/3 of the way through and have posted every day since returning from Hawaii November 4th. I hope you’ve enjoyed reading more and thank you so much for the comments. It really helps to know someone is reading.
Moroccan Oil
Maybe I was living under a tree but I’d never heard of Moroccan oil until receiving free samples of Suave’s Morrocan Infusion shampoo and conditioner at BlogHer in July. I really liked how it made my hair feel and then my hairdresser advised me to put Moroccan oil on my hair after styling to help with flyaway hair and add shine. I started doing that in September.
Now I bought a hairspray with the oil in it and love it. I’m hooked.
Green Mountain Three Continent Blend
I received samples of Green Mountain Coffee’s Three Continent Blend by signing up for a freebie or Facebook or something. This was a really good coffee and we’ll buy these Kcups when we run out of the 50-pack we bought at Costco last month.
These products I’m mentioning don’t have affiliate links; they’re just products I’ve tried recently and love.
iPhone 5S
Remember how excited I was when I ordered my shiny new iPhone 5S last month? Well now that I’ve had it in my hands for a week I’m not so impressed. Sure, it’s faster and the fingerprint reader thing is cool but there’s really not much there in terms of new bells and whistles.
My favorite feature frankly is how much lighter it is than the 4S. Of course, I didn’t like having to buy all new accessories for charging for the car, office and each floor of my house.
Family
This month I noticed a lot of people sharing on social media one thing they’re grateful for each day. I’ll just share what I’m most grateful of all is my family. Not just my husband and our kids, but my sisters, brother, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. And of course, the in-laws!
Last night I was traveling home from a two-day trip to the east coast and back when I saw a cute picture one of my nieces had posted on Facebook of her and most of her cousins (my sisters’ kids and mine) from 25 years ago. It made my day to see those adorable children and appreciate them as the adults they are now.

Okay, that’s enough sappiness for today. We don’t really have much planned this weekend other than usual chores and activities. What’s going on in your life?

Now I need to look and see if I brought home the Moroccan Shampoo and conditioner too! You motivated me on a Friday, great job!

It really works. I had to use the ship’s shampoo on vacation until we got to Walmart in Hawaii. I bought the Moroccan Infusion shampoo and conditioner and our tablemates complimented me on my hair at dinner that night. One use made a big difference!
