Today our cruise ends and it is time to go back to reality. Up at 5:40 after a pretty good night of sleep. Usually, I can’t sleep well the night before getting off. I guess because this one will be so easy.
Other than breakfast at the main dining room, my only other plan onboard is to be at the royal theater by 7:45 am.
I got dressed and went to Cafe Promenade where I used a diamond drink on a latte.
Yum! At 6:30 I went to the cabin and got my stuff. On the way to the dining room I took this photo of the port.
I think that the ambulance is waiting for K. She’s going to the hospital for treatment.
In the dining room, they are using the reduced breakfast menu.
I started with my last mimosa.
My starter was a fruit plate.
After ordering I was texting V and we were both in the dining room alone so I joined her once my breakfast burrito came.
Our group ended up meeting in the Royal Theater on deck 3 (instead of 4 because it was blocked off). We were off fairly quickly and disembarkation was easy. I found my bag easily and the port had facial recognition for people with passports.
Our buses were there and labeled by phase so I gave the driver my bag and he loaded. Then once our bus leader was there we checked in and loaded up. It was an easy (and much quieter) drivehome and my husband picked me up in the golf cart at 10:10 am.
Final Thoughts
What a wonderful cruise! I really enjoyed this size of ship and hope to go on the Mariner of the Seas and/or other ships in its class in the future. As you can tell, I had a new favorite Royal Caribbean bar with the Bamboo Room. I hope it shows up on other ships.
Going on a group cruise was also a great experience. I would love to sail with others from my community in the future.
Lastly I feel four days is just not quite long enough. I hope the next time I’m on a group cruise we can do at least five nights with two ports (at minimum).
Here is the disembarkation instructions for this sailing.
