This weigh-in was unusual because it was two days early! I was out of town over the weekend and didn’t want to go two weeks without weighing in if possible. So I joined two of my co-workers who go to Weight Watchers on Thursday mornings.
We didn’t stay for the meeting but the topic for the next six week block of meetings is about activity. By attending meetings and logging activity with the online tools, members can win prizes.
I didn’t have trouble staying within my points during my trip but finding plant-based entrees was difficult. We went out to dinner twice and I ended up picking a seafood entree because there wasn’t even a veggie burger available.
For my snacks and lunches, I went to the grocery store and bought fresh fruit, pre-cut vegetables and vegan frozen entrees.
Weigh-In
Even with just five days of results I was hoping I could hit the 20 pound mark, but couldn’t quite make it. I did lose another pound which brings the total loss to:
19.8 Pounds
Weekly Movement
I earned 20 activity points last week by attending two pilates classes and walking 45-50 minutes three times.
The big news at Pilates was that my instructor increased the free weights I was using from 2 pounds to 3 pounds. It sounds little but my arms and shoulders were sore!
Challenges Ahead
This week seems like easy sailing compared to two weeks of travel. We don’t have any social events to navigate around. The biggest challenge is that I don’t have a meal plan. I’ll sit down tonight and plan for the remainder of thew eek.
How did your week towards great health go?
