I made it to my Weight Watchers meeting but only for weigh-in before heading up to Los Angeles for an event Saturday. Although they gave me the weekly materials, I confess to putting them away without a glance.
We received samples of a new granola they’ll be selling at meeting locations. It doesn’t contain any animal products so I’m looking forward to trying it one day for a snack.
Weigh-In
Many people wear the same clothes each week for weigh-in like me. However, this week I was worried because I had to wear something for my trip but nevertheless I still lost 1.6 pounds which brings the total loss to:
23.8 Pounds
My short term goal is to get that 25 pound mark by the end of the month.
Weekly Movement
I earned 29 activity points last week for a new weekly high. The highlight was a five mile walk with other Weight Watchers members around a nearby reservoir lake. It’s been quite a while since I’ve walked that far!
I love getting away from the neighborhood to walk on the weekends. The cactus flowers were just about to bloom!
Here I am walking at another nearby reservoir lake with dirt trails.
Challenges Ahead
I’m hosting customers in the office at the end of the week and will be taking them to lunch Thursday. My big concern dining out late in the week is salty food. I can “gain” two pounds from one extra salty meal!
How did your week towards great health go?

Great job! You are almost there!

Thanks Joe. I have a long way to go until my goal weight but I’m just focusing on five pound increments. It keeps me from getting overwhelmed.

My week??? Pretty decent. I just can’t seem to get my snacking under control. I know that eating is a HUGE part of weight loss/maintenance, but I just can’t seem to get there. Looking forward to summer fruits and veggies.

Kari, I love the summer foods as well. We used to have a farmer’s market 1/2 mile from my house every week but it shut down so I should find another one soon.
