Last week was the completion of the Active Living Challenge. I’ll have to wait until August to see if I won anything from Weight Watchers. They had festivities in the afternoon which I couldn’t attend but our leader did have a speaker for our meeting.
It was a lifetime member who has lost 100 pounds and now runs half marathons. She was inspiring and a very funny speaker. I also got my 25 pound award and then won an in-meeting drawing for a free food product and picked the Pacific Butternut Squash Soup.
Weigh-In
When I got back from Portland Sunday night there were a few extra pounds on the scale. Fortunately, they were gone along with another .2 pounds bringing the total loss to:
26.0 Pounds
Weekly Movement
My activity points were down for the week even though I did get in 13 miles of walking over my three days in Portland. I earned 22 activity points and only made one pilates class. I was still tired from the big weekend!
Challenges Ahead
Wednesday I leave early heading out on a business trip. It’s a conference which provides several meals but I’m doubtful there will be enough fresh fruit and vegetables. If not, I will hit the nearest Starbucks for these items.
I also purchased vegan snack boxes (affiliate link) which are also gluten-free from Amazon.com for my travel days. I’ll review them in the future.
Since I’ll miss Wednesday’s pilates class, I scheduled one for today which is normally a rest day. I’ll pack my walking shoes and clothes for a training walk on Thursday morning before the conference starts. Let me know if you have any other suggestions for good choices on the road.
How did your week towards great health go?

Khaleef is right-while on the road, it’s hard to keep on the straight and narrow. So happy that you lost weight in spite of that!

It is so hard to stay consistent with healthy living when you travel. It’s good to see that the gain was temporary and you actually have a loss for the week!
