Tales from the Scale will now be published on Mondays. A few weeks ago I moved to Saturday Weight Watchers meetings from Monday and it was confusing to me to talk about next week’s goals when the week was halfway over!
This week’s meeting topic was about meal planning which was something I credit with my success this time around. The importance of planning (even loosely) your meals makes it easier to make better choices, have a varied diet and to follow whatever plan you’re on.
It works for me because I lost another 1.4 pounds the past week and this adds up to….
Total Loss: 14.4 Pounds
Victories and Challenges: My employer provided a pizza lunch last week with large cookies to polish it off. Fortunately, I brought a “diet” frozen meal and really didn’t mind. The points for that pizza wasn’t worth it to me.
The victory was having more than one person ask me if I’ve lost weight. Yes, yes yes!
Next week: We don’t have any social obligations or house guests this coming week so it should be an uneventful week. I’ll continue to work on increasing activity as my steps per day target is now up to 7,000.
Do you have any weight loss challenges?
