In case you were wondering I didn’t give up blogging or my journey to better health. My husband and I were away from home for 16 days on a round-trip Hawaii cruise. We have hundreds of pictures and experienced a lot during those days.
We just got home yesterday and have unpacked the suitcases and washed the dirty clothes but there will be a lot of catching up this week. Until I write more later, I thoughtI’d share a couple of my favorite pictures.
I wanted to see sea turtles at every port call and at the last tour stop at the last Hawaii port, we saw these three gentle creatures sunning themselves on the rocks. It was awesome!
Here we are in front of Rainbow Falls at the Hilo stop. The Falls are beautiful. Sights here also included a feral cat and chickens both of which seem to roam wild all over the islands.
Now it’s back to daily life. What’s your favorite vacation moment?
I love vacation/travel so much that it’s difficult to pick one moment. But I did love Hawaii more than I ever imagined I would. Great close-ups of those turtles! In Hawaii, the monk seals intrigued me most – We saw a couple of beached ones and they were staked off. Their faces remind me of my pupper dawgs!
Carrie, we didn’t see the monk seals this trip. They are adorable! The last stop on the trip was Ensenada, Mexico and there were lots of sea lions, seals and dolphins in the bay.
You both look so happy, Kay Lynn – we’ll have to catch up at WW on Saturday.
