This week’s wrap up post will cover two weeks since I couldn’t find the time to post last weekend.
We returned from an absolutely amazing time in Cancun late Saturday night and I flew out the next morning for a one day trip.
Then we learned our oldest pet, Buster, has advanced kidney disease and hyperthyroidism.
His care for these conditions requires some adjustments. He’s 15 1/2 years old so no heroics if the medicine doesn’t work but he could live another couple of years with luck.
Highlights
The whole week in Cancun was a highlight but we especially enjoyed staying in a timeshare condo so we could cook some and eat only only once most days. The pool wasn’t crowded, the service was great and we had a wonderful time. I’ll post a separate trip report with lots of photos in case you’re interested in the resort.
My trip to North Carolina on Sunday was to an appointment with Dr. Eric Westman at Heal Clinic. Since I have hypertension, I need to be monitored medically while on the ketogenic diet until my blood pressure drops enough to get off the medicine. There will also be a separate post on this experience.
Lastly, I got new highlights yesterday at my hair appointment and went lighter. I’m ready to change things up as I’ve been doing the same colors and length for a while now.

Looking Ahead
Last week was crazy busy trying to catch up at home and work from being away for 10 days. I’m still not 100% there but it’s better! My goal this week is to finish outstanding tasks and then enjoy the Eagles concert the end of week. My brother is flying in to go with me and I’m sure we’ll have a great visit.
Have a great week!
