If you would have asked me, I would have said last week was a bust in terms of activity. Then I got the email above from Runkeeper after Saturday’s walk. Four walks in a week is not a bust. No, they weren’t long but I was out there moving and that is a feat.
What I Did This Week
Here’s my exercise summary for the past week.
Wednesday: Walked 1.44 miles with co-worker. He is a fast walker but slowed down just a bit.
Thursday: None.
Friday: None.
Saturday: It was raining in the morning so my husband and I walked one of our 3 mile routes in the afternoon. It’s more work to do it later in the day but necessary sometimes.
Sunday: I went to the 8 a.m. Pilates Reformer class. It had a lot of ab work this week and boy did I feel it on Monday! A very good class though. I can tell my abdominal muscles are getting stronger.
Monday: None.
Tuesday: Strength training program. I joined an online fitness program run by FitKnitChik. Even though this is the start of week 3, I did week one workout for the first time in its entirety. There are squats and although my thighs are sore today it’s not as bad as other times I’ve done them.
It could have been a better week but I did exercise four times. My goal for the next report is to have three strength training sessions (Pilates counts as one) and at least two walks.
